Hearing aids and related covered services that are furnished by a covered provider (such as an Audiologist or Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist) for members of any age. This coverage for the hearing aid device itself is provided up to the amount described in the benefit limit (the benefit limit does not apply for related covered services). These covered services include: the initial hearing aid evaluation; one hearing aid or one set of binaural hearing aids; fitting and adjustments of the hearing aid; batteries; repair of broken hearing aids; and supplies such as ear molds.
