Some examples of covered durable medical equipment include (but are not limited to): knee and back braces; hospital beds; wheelchairs; crutches; walkers; orthopedic and corrective shoes that are part of a leg brace; glucometers that are medically necessary due to the patient's type of diabetic condition; visual magnifying aids and voice-synthesizers for a legally blind member who has insulin dependent, insulin using, gestational or non-insulin dependent diabetes; insulin injection pens; and compression stockings up to two pairs per member per six months, but no more than four pairs per member per calendar year.
