Standby attendance by the pediatrician, when a known or suspected complication threatening the health of the mother or child requires the presence of a pediatrician during the delivery. This includes: attendance during the delivery; daily special care and observation of the newborn; and medical care services during transport of the newborn, when transport to another facility is required by the Physician.
