Dentists' and facility services for surgical removal of unerupted teeth or impacted teeth when imbedded in bone, extraction of seven or more permanent teeth and gingivectomies involving two or more gum quadrants when the member has a serious medical condition (or dental) that requires admission to a Surgical Day Care Unit of a hospital or to an Ambulatory Surgical Facility in order for the surgery to be safely performed. These benefits are also provided when the surgery is furnished at an oral surgeon's office.
