Special Note: Under the Blue Distinction Program, if the member is admitted into a preferred hospital for covered maternity care and lives more than 30 miles from a covered Blue Distinction Center or if delivery occurs within 45 weeks of the effective date of this rider on the group's coverage, the member will pay the same cost share amount that he or she would pay at a Blue Distinction Center.
