Additional intermediate care for members under age 19 also includes family support and training services that provide medically necessary assistance to the member's parent or caregiver and therapeutic mentoring services that provide medically necessary support to assist a member with age-appropriate social functioning. For these covered outpatient services, a copayment will be waived. The member will still be responsible for any deductible and/or coinsurance.
