For inpatient admissions in an HMO Blue Skilled Nursing Facility, when the member has a Choice PCP, Medex Choice covers Medicare-approved inpatient Skilled Nursing Facility services for up to 100 days in a benefit period. Then, for approved inpatient services from day 101 to day 365 per benefit period, Medex Choice will pay $10 per day. For approved inpatient admissions in an HMO Blue Skilled Nursing Facility that does not participate with Medicare, Medex Choice will pay $8 per day up to a maximum of 365 days per benefit period.
