This Medex plan covers Medicare-approved chiropractic services furnished by a Chiropractor. These benefits are limited to manual manipulation of the spine to correct a subluxation that can be shown by x-ray.

Medex pays the Medicare Part B deductible and Part B coinsurance.

This Medex plan covers:

Outpatient dialysis treatment and self-dialysis training services furnished by a Medicare covered provider.

Home dialysis services (includes equipment and supplies).

Medex pays the Medicare Part B deductible and Part B coinsurance.

This Medex plan provides world wide emergency coverage. This means that Medex covers emergency medical services whether the member is in Massachusetts or traveling out of the state. These emergency medical services may include inpatient or outpatient services by providers qualified to furnish emergency medical care and that are needed to evaluate or stabilize the member's emergency medical condition.

These benefits include Medicare-approved emergency medical care services furnished by a Medicare covered provider, including a Nurse Practitioner.

Medex pays the Medicare Part B deductible and Part B coinsurance.

When these services are furnished by non-Medicare participating covered providers or while the member is traveling outside of the United States or its territories, Medex pays full benefits for those services normally covered by Medicare and Medex.
