Eye care furnished by a Physician, including glaucoma screening for high-risk members, such as members with family history of glaucoma, members with diabetes or African Americans age 50 or older. These covered services also include: one pair of eyeglasses or contact lenses after each cataract surgery with the insertion of an intraocular lens; corrective lenses/frames (and replacements) needed after a cataract removal without a lens implant; and one pair of contact lenses needed due to keratoconus.
