This health plan covers medically necessary services to diagnose or treat a biologically-based mental condition when the member is an inpatient in a General or Mental Hospital up to the number of days described in the benefit limit. This includes semiprivate room and board, special services furnished by the hospital and psychiatric care furnished by a Physician (who is a specialist in psychiatry) or Psychologist.
