Note: Medicare covers one routine GYN exam, including a routine Pap smear test, every two years (or once every year for members at high risk for developing cervical or vaginal cancer) are furnished by a Physician or other Medicare covered provider. (When a routine Pap smear test is covered by Medicare, Medex does not provide benefits for another routine Pap smear test during the same calendar year.)
