Mandatory Mail Order Program - These benefits include a mandatory mail order program for certain maintenance drugs. Under this mandatory program, retail pharmacy benefits are provided for no more than three fills of a covered drug or supply that is included on the Blue Cross Blue Shield approved mandatory mail order program drug list. The member must obtain any additional fills of that covered drug or supply from the designated mail service pharmacy. Otherwise, no benefits will be provided for those refills. To find out which drugs are included on the approved mandatory mail order program drug list, the member may call the Blue Cross Blue Shield customer service office.
