Enhanced Dental Benefits for Members with Diabetes, Coronary Artery Disease, Suffered a Stroke or Members who Are Pregnant - A member is eligible to receive Enhanced Dental Benefits when one of the following situations applies: the member has been diagnosed with diabetes or coronary artery disease or suffered a stroke or the member is pregnant. For a qualified member, Enhanced Dental Benefits include dental cleanings (oral prophylaxis or periodontal maintenance cleanings) once every three months and a periodontal scaling once for each quadrant every 24 months for members age 19 or older (or every 36 months for members under age 19) when this service is necessary and appropriate.
