Additional intermediate care for certain services for members under age 19, including: Community-Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) programs and Intensive Community-Based Acute Treatment (ICBAT) programs that provide intensive therapeutic services; in-home behavioral services that provide a combination of medically necessary behavior management therapy and monitoring; In-Home Therapy services that provide medically necessary therapeutic clinical intervention or ongoing therapeutic training and support; and intensive care coordination services that provide targeted case management services. Coverage for CBAT and ICBAT is considered to be an inpatient benefit while coverages for all other covered services is considered to be an outpatient benefit.
