This Medex plan covers Medicare-approved non-routine podiatry (foot) care furnished by a Physician or Podiatrist. These benefits include:

Diagnostic lab tests.

Diagnostic x-rays.

Surgery that is an integral part of the treatment of foot injury.

Other medically necessary foot care (such as treatment of warts).

Trimming of corns, trimming of nails and other hygienic care when it is medically necessary because the member has systemic circulatory disease (such as diabetes).

This Medex plan covers Medicare-approved radiation and x-ray therapy furnished by a Medicare covered provider, including a Nurse Practitioner.
